Be registered in New Zealand as a company, incorporated society or charitable trust. Show a clear link between its activities and the reason the sponsored person is coming to New Zealand. Not be sponsoring for a financial reward or fee. Who can sponsor a visitor? To be a sponsor you must be a relative or a friend of the visitor(s) you are sponsoring, and you must be a New Zealand citizen or the holder of a New Zealand residence permit.
